Brady

 

This year will be Brady's 5th BurningMan. He was the sole devilsticker in the 2001 & 2002 Northwest fire conclave. He has camped with Fishie-Fishie, the Star-belly Sneetches, E-ville, and Comfort. At E-ville he was the co-contributor for the yoga space, Chi-Spot. Last year he was the organizer for Comfort (the camp with the 80 ft. tower) a camp with 150 people hailing from 3 countries and 10 states. This year he is leading the effort to include Comfort in the Northwest village.

 

 

Lars Lidén, Ph.D.

 

Lars is a software developer specializing in artificial intelligence.  He has designed vehicle control systems for the computer game industry and has created lighting displays using LEDs and EL-wire.   Lars has played an active roll in the BurningMan community over the past four years, building a human foosball table that was on the esplanade in 2000, founding Black Rock City Animal Control in 2001.

 

 

Kevin MacDonald

 

An experienced mechanical engineer and machinist by trade, he has attended Burning Man the last 3 years and has participated in the organization and infrastructure of two large camps, including construction of shower facilities with gray-water capture for over 100 people that was shared with surrounding camps. Personal art projects include a full-body steel mesh costume, and a microprocessor controlled LED costume. Kevin is also an active participant of the Seattle Burning Man community.

 

 

Geoff

 

Geoff has a background in electrical engineering and computer programming.  He contributed to the e-Ville camp in 1999, 2000, and 2001, worked a short summer stint at the DPW work ranch and volunteered for building the Temple of Joy in 2002.  In 2003 he built a scooter-based art-car.  Geoff loves to photo-document, and dreams of welding bicycle parts into novel playa vehicles.

 

 

Simon Winder, Ph.D.

 

An expert in electronic engineering, signal processing and computer vision. He used to design military electronics but now works at Microsoft Research. He has been attending Burning Man since 1997, most recently camping with e-Ville. He has a strong background in control systems and robotics and will be designing the vehicle electronics and collaborating on its control software.
